We are an Eco Friendly Reserve

Being a game reserve, we are very aware of saving our environment and are committed to making a difference.

Our own Vegetable Garden….
At Gwahumbe Game and Spa we grow our own vegetables fresh for you. These vegetables are able to provide us with approximately 70 percent of our total usage.

Worm Farm…
Our worm farm is fed with vegetable and fruit scraps from our kitchen and this produces highly nutritive worm tea which we use in our vegetable garden

Recycling…
We recycle tins and glass and are constantly looking at different ways of reducing our land fill

Saving electricity…
You may think us a little pedantic but we request that guests switch off lights and heaters behind them. Every effort helps!

Coming Soon….
We are looking at a “GREEN” range of amenities for our rooms and will shortly be able to provide all guests at THE SPA with an environmentally friendly facial and body range.
