Day Visitors

Guests don’t have to spend the night to enjoy the beauty of the Gwahumbe Reserve. We’re open 7am to sundown for day visitors wanting to explore the reserve in their own 4×4 or 2×4 with diff lock vehicles or simply looking to have a drink on the deck.

Conservation Fees apply to all day visitors.

Picnic Spots

Choose one of our three designated spots, the Waterfall, the Cave or Thirsty’s Deck and enjoy a picnic in the Gwahumbe Valley.

Spa

Day Visitors are encouraged to make use of our spa. Please see our Spa Menu for details.

Restaurant

Day Visitors should book in advance to enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

A Light Lunch Menu is available Monday through Thursday. Every Sunday we offer a full lunch buffet for R95 per person.

Picnic Baskets are available on request.  R80 includes a sandwich, savory snacks, cheese, liver pate & biscuits, mixed nuts & fruit and a chocolate brownie. Please book in advance.

Brown Paper Bags can be packed for your picnic.  R35 includes a Sandwich, Chips and a Bar One

A variety of cool drinks are available at the Bar.

Day Visitor Special

Every Sunday join us for a game drive & Sunday roast buffet for only R250 per person. Book before 10am to reserve your space.
