Weddings

When you sit down to watch your wedding video with your grandchildren 50 years from now (probably on your 5D Hologram projector), they will no doubt gasp and say, “Wow! Where is that?” Don’t worry, they will soon go on to say how beautiful grandma looked and how devilishly handsome granddad was – but like everyone else they will first be struck by the magnificence of the venue. Gwahumbe Game & Spa has this effect on people.

Our lodge sits atop a plateau with a deep valley dropping dramatically down on either side, cut by the Gwahumbe River over millions of years. Antelope, zebra and wildebeest dot the grassy plains and giraffe chew lazily on the leaves of the acacia trees.

Large glass doors take this serenity from the outside in and our functions room basks in its surroundings.  60 guests fit comfortably in our venue and our friendly staff will ensure that the event flows effortlessly while maintaining the warm, family ambience that has kept people coming back to Gwahumbe Game & Spa for years.

There is accommodation available for up to 32 guests at the main lodge as well as 10 more at the bush camp facility. There are also a host of excellent accommodation options in close proximity.

We would be honoured if you would make us a part of one of the most special memories of your life.
