Day Visitors

Guests don’t have to spend the night to enjoy the beauty of the Gwahumbe Reserve.
We’re open 7am to sundown for day visitors wanting to explore the reserve in their own 4×4 or 2×4 with diff lock vehicles or simply looking to have a drink on the deck.

Conservation Fees apply to all day visitors.

Picnic Spots

Choose one of our three designated spots, the Waterfall, the Cave or Thirsty’s Deck and enjoy a picnic in the Gwahumbe Valley.



Day Visitors are encouraged to make use of our spa. Please see our Spa Menu for details.


Day Visitors should book in advance to enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

We are open! Bookings are available for accommodation, spa, events and day visitors! Accommodation available: Eagle's Nest & Serengeti. We look forward to seeing you. Please note our main lodge with bar/dining room and lounge burnt down in September 2020, we still have our spa and some accommodation, our dining room is our boma with a stretch tent over it.
