Our wedding functions room has glass doors providing sweeping views over the magnificent valley and can accommodate up to 70 guests.
The enclosed Boma has a wonderful cosy African ambience to it and can easily be converted to accommodate a wedding ceremony or reception area for the smaller wedding party.

This ‘Out of World’ bush wedding venue tenderly whispers, “I love you” to guests unwinding under the soft canopy of the gazebo. Soft lights cast romantic shadows, while the caressing African bush songs lull the senses—an excellent setting for the full enjoyment of a glass of crisp wine and delicious cuisine.

Gwahumbe’s new Boma offers a spectacular venue in KZN for bush weddings, large parties and special celebrations. Visitors can enjoy a welcome sundowner, watching an outstanding sunset casting crimson light over the exquisite valley and surrounding hills. Then, as darkness slowly settles, the Boma comes to life. Fires are lit, and subdued lighting sets the scene for the full enjoyment of an extraordinary feast and merrymaking. Our Boma also provides an ideal meet-and-greet venue for family and friends the night prior to the wedding.

Wedding Lodge Accommodation at Gwahumbe
We have accommodation available for up to 32 guests at the main lodge as well as 10 guests at our bush camp facility. There are also a host of excellent accommodation options in close proximity.
